My parents live in Denmark in the south west of Western Australia. It’s insanely beautiful country, with friendly locals, scrumptious local produce and plenty of delicious wine to taste and enjoy. Each year we brave the 6 hour road trip with the young ones and spend some time in this beautiful paradise. Fishing, surfing, swimming, camp fires, etc. all contributed to a thoroughly enjoyable trip. Of course…
For four years now I have been taking photographs of the boys on Mothers Day. Initially I get a bit of grief from them, especially the older one, but after a while they settle down and give me a couple of smiles. I love how each year the interaction between the boys is different. Each year their personalities have grown, their little self shines…
Its been winter for a little while now. With the weather comes the colds and flu’s and cough’s and all other manner of nasties. Lilly wasn’t feeling particularly well on this day but a kiss and cuddle with her favourite teddy bear and the world is a better place. I think she is completely adorable.
An impromptu picnic at the glorious Kings park tonight. Beautiful weather, easy meal, great light and pretty fantastic views. My little doers loved hanging out with their Dad and I loved trying to capture that. I find it very difficult to shoot Kaden, the youngest. He’s not as photogenic as his older brother but I love how the post processing worked on him tonight….
